Finally, here's the trip update. I would have put it up sooner but I've been waiting on B to post her pictures somewhere so I could use one or two. The camera that I thought was so cool is a piece of shit compared to B's new camera. My pictures sucked rocks.
Anyway, we left for So. Cal. the evening of the 27th. The trip was uneventful except I'd taken two pills that made me sleep through most of it. Since no one told me otherwise, I'm assuming the trip was uneventful. Our hotel was gorgeous and the room we had was very comfortable. I love Marriott beds and linens!
Disneyland was fabulous and decorated to the hilt. Jimminy Christmas though, the crowds were like I've never seen before! We didn't expect it to be a busier time to visit than any other, but we heard it more than once from park "cast members." By the third evening, as we were getting hungry and very tired, it was ultimately the crowds that influenced us to leave the park. We had a delicious dinner and saw Sweeney Todd. B and I loved it of course, but we're Tim Burton and Johnny Depp fans. DH, on the other hand, wasn't so thrilled. ;-)
California Adventure was new for us, we spent the second day there. It was especially nice because the crowds were much smaller, especially early in the day. We liked that the characters were edgier in CA. For example, we never saw Cruella DeVil or Queen Grimhilde (the Evil Queen from Snow White) in Disneyland but really enjoyed them at CA.
The cherry on top of the whole trip was the flight home when we had first class seats. B and I had never flown first class so we were quite impressed. The entire trip was fabulous and we had a wonderful time. Here are just a few pictures...

We're really going! December 27th, the three of us will fly to So Cal for 3 full days at Disneyland and California Adventure!!!!! I can hardly believe it!
We are SO considering doing this for Christmas! Read below for why. ;-)
